Research Affiliate, Georgetown University Global Health Institute

Katie Schweickert serves as a research affiliate for the Georgetown–Lancet Commission on Faith, Trust, and Health. She is a senior at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, majoring in science, technology, and international affairs, with a concentration in global health and biotechnology. Prior to working at the Global Health Institute, she worked for the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, the Office of Congressman Dwight Evans, and the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association, bringing a background that bridges health, policy, and equity. Her research experience spans from NIH-funded studies on genetic testing access in Philadelphia to projects on disaster response and drug addiction in Geneva, Switzerland.
