Myara Poliarco is a content writer intern with the Georgetown–Lancet Commission on Faith, Trust, and Health. She is currently a master’s student in the Communication, Culture, and Technology program at Georgetown University and earned her undergraduate degree in diplomacy and international relations, with a specialization in East and Southeast Asian studies, from Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. Before joining the commission, she taught social sciences at Tabernacle of Faith Christian Academy and worked with the Philippine Center for Islam and Democracy on interfaith and peacebuilding initiatives, as well as women, peace, and security projects. Her interests lie in political communication, particularly in addressing misinformation and strengthening trust between communities and institutions.
