
Katherine Marshall

An international development expert specializing in global governance, humanitarian work, and faith’s role in development. During her long World Bank career (1971–2006), she held leadership roles across Africa, Latin America, and East Asia. As Country Director for the Sahel and Southern Africa, she addressed social policy and governance during the East Asia crisis. From 2000–2006, she advised the World Bank President on ethics, values, and faith in development. Her work included leadership development, conflict resolution, women’s empowerment, and integrating values and ethics into policy.
