The Rev. Lydell C. Lettsome, M.D. is a board-certified general surgeon with a background of study in Christian and Medical Ethics. Over the past twenty years, Dr. Lettsome has led clinical departments, trained residents and students and conducted community education and research at numerous health systems. During his career, Dr. Lettsome’s focus shifted to wound care. This field of medicine has developed in recent years as more Americans have wounds that don’t easily heal.
