Thabo Makgoba

Archbishop, Cape Town; Primate, Anglican Church of Southern Africa; Fmr. Bishop, Suffragan; Fmr. Bishop, Grahamstown

As an Anglican leader, he has used his position as the Archbishop of Cape Town and Primate of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa to advocate for health equity and social justice. He has been deeply involved in efforts to address public health challenges, particularly in the areas of HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and care. Beyond his role in the Church, he has worked to influence policy and improve access to essential health services for vulnerable populations.
