
Titus Payne
Research Affiliate, Georgetown University Global Health Institute
Titus Payne is a research affiliate for the Georgetown-Lancet Commission on Faith, Trust, and Health. In 2025, he earned his masters in theological studies at Wesley Theological Seminary and his masters in international development at American University. His thesis research followed an indigenous community in Cambodia’s conversion to Christianity, and explores the role of Christianity in their response to concurrent existential threats to their natural environment and indigenous ways of life. Prior to graduate studies, Payne worked for the American Institutes for research as a qualitative research associate, working on issues of juvenile justice, violence prevention, and education.
