Wellcome Backs New Commission to Build Trust in Health Services Through Novel Alliance with Faith Communities

Wellcome, a global charitable foundation established in 1936, has awarded $750,500 USD to support the Georgetown-Lancet Commission on Faith, Trust, and Health.
In a recent press release, John-Arne Røttingen, chief executive of Wellcome, noted that trust in science is essential to improving health outcomes and called for greater transparency and collaboration between health institutions and faith actors.
